Sarah is a Cincinnati native & math/ science nerd, who until only recent years might have said of herself - not a creative bone in her body (even though present-day Sarah adamantly and rabidly rejects that phrase as total bullshit, and it rankles whenever she hears it). Her newly discovered creative outlet came in the form of repurposing old TV’s and radios, as seen in her work with Secondwind Upcycling. While cute, fun, and super-cool, she has long grappled with the notion of what to call herself. While not “art” by the strictest definition, but way cooler than “crafting” (a word she despises, btw), she has been an art orphan for these past few years. Fire the Board is her attempt to grapple with this feeling of homelessness in the art world, and also her first stab at more conceptual work. She is so excited for the opportunity to show her work, and explore WTF is art with you (who’s gonna tell her, you’re not supposed to break the fourth wall??!? ������).
